You can keep your honeydew melons at room temperature for about 4 days if they are not quite ripe. Once fully ripened, you can keep in your refrigerator for approximately another 5 days. If you cut your honeydew melon, make sure you keep it either wrapped in plastic or in a closed container as the strong odor from the honeydew melon can saturate other foods.

Even though honeydew melons taste sweet, they are still great for weight loss, as they are low calorie and saturated fat.
